I came to Rutherford County after a 20-year career as a general manager in the automobile industry. I later became the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, and during my 11-year tenure, I witnessed firsthand the strong spirit, collaboration, and commitment of our local business community to one another and to this county.
After retiring from the Chamber, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Small Business Center at Isothermal Community College. There, I again experienced the dedication, drive, and deep love the people of Rutherford County have for one another and for our shared future.
As a candidate, I understand that we all want to talk about success. However, success must be more than an idea or a plan - it requires action. I chose to run for County Commissioner because I want to help turn a vision of success into reality for the people of Rutherford County.
Throughout this campaign, my goal is to listen - to the needs, concerns, and dreams of our community. We must remind ourselves, and one another, that we have value, purpose, and hope for the future. Together, we can make that hope a reality.
